Malgudi Holidays - Serviced Villa

It's one of best place for staying. They have good hospitality. Room are neet and clean at reasonable prices

This review pertains to my stay at Malgudi holiday homes service apartments at kannur for one night with my wife and parents while we were transiting via road from kollur mookambika to my hometown. We reached at the property in late evening and were totaly tired because of driving around 250 odd kms from kollur to kannur. We paid 3000 rupees for one night for 4 adults. First the roads which lead to the service apartments are very narrow and would require enough of a driving skill to steer through. Secondly the apartment which was given to us was in an utter bad shape. There were cob webs everywhere in the room. One cot in one of the room was broken which we came to know only when we luckily thought to inspect the condition of cot before going to sleep as it was making some squeaky noise. I cant imagine what would have happened if my pregnant wife would have fallen down beacuse of breaking of that cot while sleeping. When complained to the person who seemed to be the incharge of the apartments, he had no where with all about any remedial measures which requires to be done. Also he even gave absurd solutions like one person can sleep on the floor. To top it all the front doors couldnt be locked from inside. When we complained abt that , his excuses were like no thieves will come here, the locks might have become tight beacuse of monsoons etc . There behaviour was completely unprofessional, the property was below average with poor cleanliness and not at all safe. I strongly recommend everyone not to choose this property as there are many other good hotels within the radius of 700-800m from malgudi holidays service apartments. But since i reached the apartment at night and was totally tired i took a calculated risk to stay there itself because my wife and parents were completely tired to do a hotel hunting and also partially because i had already paid the money without properly checking the condition of rooms and facilities.Surprisingly this property is listed first when somebody is looking for a decent stay in kannur and the reviews also seemed to be nice. Though my empathies are there with hotel industry because of the ongoing covid scenarios , but people like these are taking advantage of such situations and trying to cheat people and mint money by providing substandard stay and facilities.I request all travelling communities to kindly refrain from staying at this property to avoid such horrific experiences which i had to undergo with a pregnant wife and elderly parents.

Bad customer caring & no all facilities provided what they give in site..I stay one night before yesterday No wifi & no mobile data also inside room ,TV not working ..

The location is hardly 200m from the Payyambalam sea beach. Very tranquil place with adequate space for car parking.
