Worst customer service. I booked an Altroz XT petrol with them on 27th November 2020. The said they will deliver around dec end or jan 1st week. After that there was no response from their side. Around Dec last I called sales guy and he said there was some delay from tata side they reduced manufacturing since it is year end, but for sure we will be getting vehicle in Jan 1st or 2nd week. Then again no response from them. Around jan 2nd week I called them again and same story repeated. I was connected with their manager(Team Lead) named Sameer. He said that from TATA they got the promise that all the pending bookings will be addressed by Jan 20th. I believed him. Still after jan 26, there was no update. I called Sameer again and I got the same reply. He said by feb start is final. Around feb 1st week when called, they started telling, they don’t have any thing to do, it is all done from Cochin office. I took number from them and called their cochin office and got same reply. Almost close to 3 full months that I have waited for the vehicle which was promised to be delivered by dec end or jan start.nAround feb 2rd week they said the booking for turbo variant is less since it is a newly launched model. By that time, they said my booking was in position no 6 in their priority list. They said I can go for the turbo model and they will keep my booking priority as it is but will loose price protection. Even they said they have talked with the cochin head office and they have approved this too. So I went for a vehicle which costed me an additional of 1lkh from my budget just for the sake of getting it at the earliest.nBut, as I had this many worst experiences with them, after changing my booking to altroz turbo petrol XT with Sree Gokulam, for the safer side I went to another dealer (not mentioning the name here, let’s call them Dealer2) also. I made a booking with Dealer2 few days after I updated my booking with Gokulam.nSo with both dealers I clearly mentioned the scenario and told them whom ever is able to provide me vehicle at the earliest I will go with them. And I got a call from Dealer2 around feb 20th that they have the vehicle ready and If I can pay the amount I can reserve it. I paid the amount Feb 20th and I got the confirmation mail from them stating the car has been allotted to my name. And after temporary registration I got the car from dealer2 on march 1st week. So it took the hardly one month from dealer2 to get the car delivered and that too the same color (midtown grey). During this period and even on the week before the delivery (from dealer2) I called gokulam (dealer1) to see if they have any update and the manager, Sameer, told me to think positive and stay positive everything will be done. After waiting for 3 long months this is what they have to say “PLEASE THINK IN A POSITIVE WAY”.nEven getting the vehicle delivered from dealer2, after one week too, gokulam had no update regarding my booking (eventhough it was them who made the first booking for me for Turbo model too). And then I gave a request to cancel the booking since it has been close to 3.5 months.nEven in the cancellation side, they had a lot of issues. After giving the request, when I ask them about the refund, they straight away direct me towards ekm office. If you can’t even give an update regarding anything nor can u deliver anything, then why are you running this. Shame on you. And finally after lot of follow ups with their cochin office I got the amount after 3-4 weeks.nSo you can decide from this if you need to go with this dealer who can’t even keep any promise and keep changing words and also has a bigger booking amount (Rs.5000/-) than the other dealer who straight away tells this is the situation and this is the max earliest we can deliver your vehicle and also most importantly updates you regarding the progress; also has a lesser booking amount too (Rs.2000/-)
