Walked in today. They served pastry in tissue paper. Like seriously. Could have served in paper plates at least. Half the pastry got stuck in tissue paper. No professionalism at all.
They have maintained their goodwill with all their customers. I was their regular walk-in customer but changed to ordering online , when the option came up using the services of a trusted Delivery Company. Recently i walked-in at their Rawdon street shop and was happy to see everyone maintaining C-safety norms.
My husband yesterday bought 1 lb black forest for Rs. 750 around 6.30 p.m & reach home within 45 minutes by Own car & Freezed it . However at 12 p.m after celebration when we want to have it we found it totally rotten. Now they are claiming that they had delivered fresh item . They are ready to replace also subject to I should go there again to refund it. They Will not pick up it .
Tasteless and copied duplicate cakes.nInferior quality products.nBetter to avoid and instead buy good quality products.
My experience at Cakes was abysmal. I ordered a 1 pound pineapple cake for my mother's for Rs 700. They refused to show me a prototype saying that they don't keep any. The cake that we got was barely half a pound, tasted bad and had terrible consistency. I have been a Cakes patron for years and I'm frankly disappointed at their quality. My money was wasted and I should have gone to Kookie Jar.
