Everyone in Kozhikode love the banana chips from Kumari. It's the best banana chips in Kerala. Love the way they slice the chips, then wash it to bring a nice clean look and then fry it on fire from coconut husk. The consistency in taste and texture is amazing. What is unique, which adds to the taste is the wafer thin slice and crispiness of the chips.

They have the best product. Parking is a problem, so drive with a friend and let your friend leave you there, when you make your purchase, they can take a ride round by YMCA cross road and come and pick you by the time you finish. These are banana chips made the traditional way, the old clay stove, coconut shell fire, coconut oil.... Anand/Murali's sarbat shop is next door and bang opposite is the oldest Paragon restaurant... If your flavour is Calicut, you are in best place... They also have the classic Calicut black halva that just melts in your mouth by your ud83dudc45 tongue temperature... This is the only place where the kitchen is the first that you see, but be assured, no bacteria or virus can survive their salt, turmeric and blazing boiling coconut oil method... It's classic, absolutely Calicut and just buy, take it home, enjoy!

Banana chips were crispy and thin. You get Khozikode's best banana chips fried in the coconut oil.
