Nahoum and Sons Private Limited Confectioners

I have liked this place since a long time One of the oldest pastry shops in new market with a lot of history. The best is their pancakes. Everytime I visit their shop, it's on my itinerary. The pastries , patties are all good too.

It is a very old place and can be called one of the heritages of the city of Calcutta. It is located inside S. S. Hogg Market opposite Little Shop.nIt is very fascinating to say that till date they have maintained their quality as well as the price, which is very reasonable for the food you get.nI would advise to visit the place at the early hours to get the hot & fresh stuff straight from the oven!nI had chicken patti last time and it was very tasty and stuffed with chicken!

It is a good place to visit atleast once if u go to new market/ Esplanade. It has historical background and the taste, quality, variety of items and price is great. I highly recommend to buy breads, buns, garlic bread from here... Its supersoft and price is also reasonable.
