First of all I have to thank East Coast Move on their flawless execution, from initial scheduling to pickup and delivery, they were with me every step of the way. My move with East Coast came on short notice, yet their quality and expertise far surpassed my wishes and expectations. I had just gotten a new job in California but only had two weeks to be there and had no idea how I would be able to accomplish moving my family, household and myself in such a small time-frame. My moving coordinator, John was especially helpful in keeping my stress levels down as he gave me his word that they would be able to accomplish this with maximum precision, an agreement which he and East Coast definitely delivered on. I was given great tips on how our items and furniture should be packed, so what I thought would be entirely difficult was actually fairly easy thanks to this amazing moving company. I found staying in contact with John proved to be a valuable affair. I was quoted a much lower price than the two companies I previously contacted and saw some pretty good reviews on this company so of course I decided to use them as my valuables are very important to me, some of which belonged to my grandparents so the nostalgia I get from them (like grandma's old coffee table) were worth a lot more to me than their actual price. I put down a pretty small deposit and when moving day came John called me to ensure he alleviated any anxiety I was feeling (thanks John!) to keep things running smoothly. Once the moving guys loaded my things onto the truck I got my family together and we set off on our journey across the country to California. We arrived at our new residence in California just before our stuff got there so we could make sure all of our things were still in good condition (they were) as they came off the moving truck. Lo and behold, not one thing was broken which we could easily tell by the way the boxes still looked new and freshly packed as the movers unloaded the truck in an expeditious manner. I cannot say how pleased I was that none of grandma and grandpa's old things were broken or misplaced and as for all the other items, they were in A+ condition. I would definitely use East Coast Move again and recommend them to any friends or family that consult me on which moving company they should use to make sure everything gets from point A to point B, carefully. I got moving quotes from various moving companies before meeting with East Coast. Mathew was very thorough and I felt that the estimate he provided was realistic and fair. It was also the most expensive but you get what you pay for. He went through each room and asked me a lot of questions. He also left me with a packet of information. It was a good 20-30 minutes. Other companies barely spent 10 minutes in my house and gave me outrageously cheap quotes. I am SO happy with East Cost Moving and Storage. I cannot believe a move can be this easy. Alfredo and his team were not only early, they were extremely thorough, took care with our belongings and took the time to ask for our preferences. It was the best moving experience we could have asked for. All our furniture is exactly as it was before the move and even though it rained on moving day my floors are as clean as they could ever be. They are really a strong above anything I expected. I highly recommend this company.

Very difficult to work with throughout the process. The movers who moved me out venmo requested me a 50.00 dollar tip without me asking them to. The mover (they sent one man for a 1 bedroom apartment) dropping off the supplies didn't perform an inventory check, and was very rude and difficult to work with. This company only offers a 60 cents per pound insurance policy (i.e. if they lose or damage a 50 inch tv that weighs 20 lbs you can expect them to pay out 12 dollars regardless of how much the tv is valued at). Most importantly they lost 2 of our boxes - of course containing invaluable family photos and the glass table top to our side table. I wish I would have just paid more and worked with literally anybody except budget van lines and east coast movers.

Hey everyone, I moved with East Coast from Miami to Brooklyn, New York. I’m a third year college student that recently got a job in the city. My budget for this move was low, so I spent my time finding quotes and reviewing moving companies before I finally spoke with James, a sales representative at East Coast. With the bulk of stuff I had (a substantial amount of furniture and clothes) he was able to price my move at $2,250. I had gotten low balled by many other companies that I knew would jack the price up as soon as they loaded my move, so I went with East Coast. The movers that packed all my belongings were the most hard working and pleasant people I’ve come across, although their English was not very good. The customer service rep fortunately communicated with them for me and we had everything packed up in no time! Once I landed in NY, my belongings were delivered and in perfect condition which was such a relief. I couldn’t thank them enough for how great this move turned out. Now I’m stress free with all my furniture and able to start this new chapter in my life. James and East Coast if you’re reading this, I’m forever grateful for the care you put into my move!!!

Great company! I contracted East Coast movers to do my move from Texas to Oregon. The staff were all very helpful and informative, as this is my first move and I don’t know a thing about the business. My sales representative, Anthony, was there with me every step of the way like family. The movers that came to load my belongings did a phenomenal job, which was a relief because I had some very valuable belongings being loaded onto a truck. The move went so smoothly, I will continue to recommend this company to any friends and family in need of moving. Thank you East Coast!!
