Parking is bit a problem if you are traveling with your own car. Visa service is fast as I got visa for my son within half an hour. Keep water bottle and some snacks with you.

It is very systematic. The people are very good and cooperative. They always greet you with smile which helps to reduce the tensions.

The consulate has been absolutely pathetic in providing appointments for F1 visa applicants. I have repeatedly received errors while booking appointments despite the fact that several slots were available and eventually my account has been frozen for 72 hours. I have to join my program on the 19th of January and there are thousands like me who are yet to book an appointment. We have to fight for 20-50 slots that are released everyday. I have a horrible impression of the US even before reaching there.Their handling of the pandemic has been extremely poor. People have been allowed to abuse emergency appointments but now even those have to be fought for. If you can't provide enough slots, release a statement to tell people to check other embassies for slots. I've run out of patience trying to follow the process of this pathetic system.

Nice clean, empty, friendly atmosphere. Visa took less than 5 mins and 10 mins of walking in and out. Smooth experience.
