To Identify The Needs Of Plumbing Skill Development In The Plumbing Sector Including Taking Steps To Prepare Catalogue Of Types Of Skills, Range And Depth Of Skills To Facilitate Choice To Individuals. To Develop A Skill Development Plan For The Plumbing Sector And Maintain Plumbing Skill Inventory. To Determine Skills/Competency Standards And Qualifications In Consonance With The PlumbingSector Norms. To Plan And Execute "Training Of Trainers" For Sector Skill Development. To Promote Academies Of Excellence In The Plumbing Industry Spectrum. To Establish A Well Structured Plumbing Sector Specific Labour Market Information System ("LMIS") To Assist Planning And Delivery Of Training. To Facilitate In Standardizing The Affiliation And Accreditation Process For The Plumbing Sector. To Facilitate Setting Up A Robust And Stringent Certification And Accreditation Process For The Plumbing Sector To Ensure Consistency And Acceptability Of Standards. To Participate In The Affiliation, Accreditation, Examination And Certification. To Coordinate Participation Of Social Partners, Employers In The Private Sector, Training Providers, Professional Societies And NGOs / Civil Society Groups In The Process Of Plumbing Skill Development Of The PlumbingSector. To Identify The Plumbing Skill Development Needs Of The Plumbing Sector, Review International Trends In Plumbing Sector Skill Development And Identify Plumbing Sector Skill Gaps And Technologies. To Do And Undertake The Task Of Educational And Vocational Upliftment Of The Plumbing Sector.
