I had several issues with the veicle, as it was not well prepared, and it was not the vehicle that we had booked. The detergent for the front window was missing, so was the ADblue not filled and there was no clockdisk for parking. I tried to contact Sixt by phone for 10 days (I had no internet as I was on holiday) and there was no way to get to them. First, you need a contract number, but I only had a reseveration number (which is different). The contract number was printed poorley and I could only read half of it. So after several trials I managed to digit a code that was corresponding to a valid contract (possibly not even mine). This meant that I finally got through to the next menu informing me that there was no phone service to assist anyone, due to covid (why did I have to digit a code to hear that the system is off?). So put simply: after you rent a car with them you are on your own! Zero assistance. Update: after more than a week I got no reply to my email to the costumer service. There is basically no costumer service at Sixt. No answer to the phone nor email. JUST NOTHING! I received a call from the lady at the counter who gave me the car keys, as she was offended by my review. She was indeed the only positive part of the process, but a kind person at the desk is not worth the pain of having no support after receiving the keys!

UPDATE: I was shocked to see charge for extra day in the invoice that came after the review was written. The car was returned 45 min after time of pick up. Email was sent 3 days ago and still, no reply. Avoid if you can. Came 1h before the booking time. They claimed to not have a car available in the category which I booked. They claimed that only more expensive ones were available. After I refused to pay extra for the more expensive car and waited for 30 min to have my car ready, they said the car I’ve booked had airbag light flashing (how likely for German car?) and gave me the car they tried to sell me before, which is worst than the car I initially booked. Not only the above, they tried way too many times to sell me extra insurance and fuel charges. Bad experience.

Very nice service. We arrived after closing time. Due to delay in flight. But the front office girl wait for us. Also car was very nice an clean.
