Very nicely located nearby the airport (a shuttle takes you there). The service has been very friendly and fast - 10 minutes to get the car and we also had the time for a chat. We could even extend the rent for one day extra nearly last minute which is not welcomed in many agencies.

Super friendly staff. Excellent prices. Hired a Volvo XC40 for the week and it was excellent. Not a mark on it. Hiring and returning vehicle was a very quick and efficient process. Will definitely be using again next time I fly into Florence. For anyone wondering, the shuttle from the airport to hire companies is every 20 minutes and a 5 minute journey.

Be aware that you have to take a shuttle from the terminal. No time table is displayed. So you wait !...................... not happy .......... Upgrade to 3 stars. Service at checkout was very nice!

We had an excellent experience at the Florence Airport location. They were very well organized at the counter, where you took a number for determining when you would be helped next. I only waited a few minutes to be helped, and the staff member was very courteous and efficient. My car was available and waiting. When I noticed small damage to the car, the attendant in the lot was helpful and quickly filled out the necessary paperwork to document it before I left the lot.

Only one desk open today. Anyone with the Avis Preferred card is prioritized, even if they arrived way later. I waited 1 h in the office, and 1 h additional for the car that was not ready... Avis: why not. Avis Florence Airport: no more! Avis, your process should adapt to the customer’s needs ... don’t ask your people to spend time cleaning the car if the priority 1 for the customer is punctuality!
