Bad Service: Avoid like the plague.
I state that we are account holders as a company at this post office.
Having received a receipt for a registered letter to be collected, at the end of business hours I decide to dedicate about ten minutes of my time for collection, providing myself with a proxy and identity document of the delegator. I arrive at the office, and outside I find a "bodyguard" from some security office, in a bulletproof vest, asking me what I should do. Glad of not having to explain to those present the need to enter to scan the registered barcode and be called with priority (or possibly swipe the account card for the same priority) I explain what I have to do. I am told that I have to stand in the only queue present, outside, with people from the most varied needs. If Poste Italiane has adopted these means to allow rapid processing of those who are account holders, use the app, or have to collect a registered letter, what is the point of making people crowd out unnecessarily, in this period when gatherings, with a mask or not , should be avoided when the delivery of the registered letter requires, after scanning the barcode, a few seconds?
Absolutely not recommended, in other offices they are not so backward and they let those who have to scan or confirm a reservation enter in a controlled manner, unfortunately the registered letter is still there. Turn offshore if you can.
Obviously, a report to the competent offices will follow. Having more than one friend who works in post offices in other countries, I will get the email directly from whoever is responsible for reporting these inefficiencies, hoping for a sound pull of the ears to the manager.
However, I note that the other reviews are also quite eloquent and in tune with what I have expressed.
I don't agree with the priority for people who have a booklet, a C.C. or any relationship with the company to help people who are waiting for their shift at the counters, and this provision was not introduced by employees, but by those who govern the post office, to induce customers to open any service at PI for get the same privileges. I carry the same money as the others and they don't have a different value, so I want the same treatment for everyone.
Being under-controlled, employees do and will do everything that is not related to their job duties.
I am writing to you about my experience: I go to this office to collect a registered letter after having received a notice at home; it's 2.45pm: 1 door open on 4. There was a person at the counter and a guy waiting for his turn: I think I'll go fast. There were 6 standing employees: 3 talking to wait for the exit time and 2 pretending to understand a speech late to start working and the last one going from one side of the office to the other.
The only open counter took his time to ask the user what kind of business he had, where he had it, and what you sell and so on and other questions that had nothing to do with his work so much that at 14 08 he called other employees because he couldn't get a simple check.
At this point an employee of good will opens another door: here goes the guy before me and then when I think I'll be called he calls those who have come after me, ends and calls another ... well the third number that is the third person who arrived after me I go to the door at 14.18 after a full 32 minutes of waiting x understand the sense of call of the number .. make me wait until the third person called before me finish and then tell me about get closer: well, finally it's my turn. What a stress!!
Grumpy and rude staff! It was my turn, I was in front of the employee and she was blissfully thinking about her cell phone. The employees are all comfortable! These are the standards of the post office.
A woman of a certain age at the bar very, very rude, there are people out of work so they thanked what they have
