Don’t rent your car here, fraudulent! When I returned the car they charged 250 euro extra on my card without any communication, after a month of calling and mailing I got my money back. They charged for extra insurance I never booked or signed for and already had via Rentalcars. And I already paid 2,5 more than last year. Don’t be fooled by the name Budget/Avis, never again.

I would give less than one star if possible. Very long waiting times in order to pick up the car, you have to count in 2hrs or more and queue up multiple times. Zero customer service, tried to call them over 20x , no response. They are working together with Avis and Maggiore, so also to be avoided. Try other companies.

After renting with “cheaper” car places in the past when travelling in Southern Europe and experiencing their hard sell on car hire insurance and bad service we went with Budget this time. Our quote included all taxes and fees. When we showed the agent our car hire insurance that we buy every year for £85 she stopped her hard sell but did say that we may have trouble claiming on it and should still get theirs as companies don’t always give receipts. After we declined she moved on. They didn’t do an inspection of the car when we picked it up and we didn’t notice any major dents or scratches. When we dropped the car off the agent did the same old dirty tricks as other firms, knowing that passengers need to rush to catch a flight.... found nearby small scratches and said the car hire didn’t include VAT (a tax!). Even after showing our papers that said taxes and fees were included he agent stood his ground and charged our card for VAT and repairs for scratches saying a receipt would come via email... it hasn’t yet, but within 5 minutes the charges were on our credit card. This type of behaviour is below the standard of Budget and is a fraud. I have written to budget giving them 14 days to refund these charges. Don’t rent from these people. They are below the standards of budget. If they refund theses charges I will come back and update this review.

15min after the plane had landed, I had the keys to my car. The little Fiat Panda was spotless, completely clean and in super shape. Drop off was easy and took no more than 15min again (even if it was in the evening with a little queue). Best advice: don't book europcar when you arrive with Easyjet. As they have a promo, 80% of the plane will be at the stand and you'll wait hours. Try to board off the plane quickly and go directly to the counter. Once you have the keys, you can go back to the airport, drink a coffee, buy some water, and get some cash at the ATM.

They have a lot of criminal energy, I have booked a car with another provider and wanted to take the car only. Arrived at Budget Brindisi Airport, they have given me another rental contract witout acceptance and have stolen money from my credit card. Be careful
