This was one of the worst experience I have hade in Japan so far. Truth to be said, staff was really friendly and the place is pretty cozy (located under a bridge.) But then, once you come in, you realize that this isn't more than a few 5m2 pounds with hundreds of carps. And the magic really fades away. It is nothing close to fishing. You just hold your rod for a second to catch a fish. All the carps are busted, injured as they are fished 24/7. Dead fish floating around the pounds. There is no respect at all. I am not blaming people for fishing. But I think that it should be forbidden to treat animals like they do. If you want to have a fish trip then go out of Tokyo and have a trip in a local river or don't. You'll enjoy it way more.

Came here about 5 minutes before they closed and after looking around for a few minutes a lady kicked us out to tell us they were closed. We just wanted to buy an ADA glass cleaner and we would have been out before 4PM. Whatever they just lost a sale.

A great place to have fun catching and and releasing fish, with family, friends, or alone. Anyone could catch a fish here, even first-timers! The staff were friendly and helpful, and even the children were quiet and well mannered. The bait is reasonably priced, there are instructions in many languages, and there's reduced admission for children as well!

Brought my 9 yr old and 7 year old here for our inaugural fishing experience and we had 2 hrs of great fun! We caught about 16 carps in our time there. Would had stayed longer if not for dinner. Highly recommended for all ages.
