I came here not knowing what to expect. The lady who works there is super nice, we were able to feed the turtles and my kids loved it. It looks like it was bigger but the lady explained there was a typhoon that did some damage and they are repairing it. There were people working on putting a roof up. I love the fact that they are growing coral and replanting it onto the ocean. There's photos of what they have done and it's amazing. There is a little animal petting area, and a HUGE clam at the end. My kids loved having a up close view of the coral. It was 900 yen per adult, kids were free. They accept cash also $1= ¥1. After there's a nice little beach to hang out at and a sea wall you can walk on. I can't wait to go back and see it again.

My family and I went here and spent about an hour walking around. This place grows coral and plants it back in the ocean. This was great for kids as they have plenty of fish for the kids to look at. For 100 yen you can buy some fish and turtle food. My 2 year old son loved feeding the sea turtle.

This place looks really responsible of it's fish and corals. The animals look lively and healthy. This isn't the most aesthetics of places (they had typhoon damage), but they are doing amazing coral restoration work. If you care about the environment, they will need your support. The aquarium itself is rich, huge and impressive

This is a cool little coral farm. I love what the owner is doing with replanting coral back into the ocean. Great learning experience for the kids. Kids were free, so that even better. It's definitely a quick 30 min tour. Not an all day thing, but Yomitan Gala is right up th hill. There's a pottery place where you can make pottery. And I think there is a glass blowing place there too. Also, a little restaurant that seemed to have quite a few ppl there, so I think the food might be good. Everytime we've here the restaurant had a steady stream of customers. Overall we really liked Sango Batake. Very cool seeing what the owner is doing, great education for adults and kids. And the kids got to touch some of the sea animals and feed the turtle.

It’s location is so beautiful 😍 Crystal clear teal waters and green vegetation surround this little hidden gem. The staff was so friendly, lots and lots of fun facts in English. It’s beautiful seeing their coral grow. I love how they are helping rebuild the reefs. We really enjoyed feeding the fish and sea turtles. We ended up going back for more fish food. The blow fish was so cute spitting water at us 😂 My 11 year old son even loved it and he’s usually wanting to go home.
