Kyoto City Zoo

It is good place to go with your kids in particular. If you're gonna stay in Kyoto for couple of month and gonna visit Zoo more than 4times, it's better to purchase the annual pass with unlimited entries for an year.

Super cute zoo. Great for families or a date. Lots of big animals as well as little critters like frogs & birds. Well organized and not smelly like many other zoos.

Really fun zoo and a great price. Very family friendly, smells way better than zoos usually do. Animals are obviously taken care of really well and aren't too shy of humans. Highly recommend as a family outing or a date.

Very nice and have many animals and birds.. Clean and nice

The place is kept quite good but the cages are really bare and old. The animals don’t have enough space to move and some of them are visibly distressed (they keep walking back and forth). Zoos are a sad place, but I hope they will upgrade the current accommodations do the animal can live a decent life.
