This was a very good place. Although the place was under construction while I was there, the aquarium was mesmerizing, they have animals of all kinds even a shiba dog

It's nice in all seasons. In the summer, there is a lively crowd of families playing at the small tide pools outside and you can buy shaved ice. In the winter, it's less lively but still beautiful. Be aware to dress for the weather and don't go on days that are too hot. There are many parts of the aquarium that do not have air conditioning or heating, so remember your coat in the winter and just plain don't go if it is super hot in the summer. It also gets very busy during holidays. We like it here, the tropical fish and octopus are the best.

I'm happy! I could see seals, Etopirica and Spotted garden eel !!!

I really enjoyed this aquarium. Many times in aquariums I feel that the animals being kept do not have enough room, but this was not the case here. The grounds, as you would expect, were clean and well maintained. Despite this, I can't help but question the ethics of placing a sushi shop right in front of the largest exhibit. Perhaps it serves as a reminder of the bounty of the ocean, but I feel it to be in poor taste. It would be like having a flamingo kebab stand in a zoo.

Great museum with a lot of educational features. It's colorful and engaging for people of all ages. They had various rare species on display and the enclosures seemed more appropriately sized than most other places in Japan. I could spend several hours here without getting bored. The only things missing were a touch tank and a good-looking deep sea exhibit (both things I was looking for).
