This temple isn't on the main routes in Japan, which perhaps helped make it seem more authentic (I am sure it is no more or less authentic than others). Itvwas very quiet with the lack of crowds helping. The grounds were quite stunning with the walk to the grave of Kogyo Daishi so beautiful and peaceful. When I am back in Wakayama I will visit again.

Very peaceful compared to some shrines in Kyoto(probably less tourist know about this place). I enjoyed the atmosphere and the tranquil of the whole place.Do visit this place when you are in Wakayama.

In "Makai Tensho", it is an elephant that is just cut off by Jubei Yagyu, in "The Conspiracy of the Yagyu Clan", it is an ally of Jubei Yagyu who is tossed by a powerful person, and in "Masked Ninja Akakage", it is an evil organization that manipulates giant monsters. Although it is a ghosted Negoro-shu, in historical fact it was a group of monks who were good at handling guns, and even a daimyo was a major force in the Warring States that could not be dealt with. Due to Toyotomi Hideyoshi's conquest of Kishu, he lost all the cathedrals, leaving the Great Tower and Daishido, and fell to zero, but after the fall of the Toyotomi family, he has achieved a certain degree of reconstruction with the support of the Kishu Tokugawa family. By the way, Chishakuin Temple in Shichijo, Higashiyama, Kyoto was originally the tower of Negoroji Temple, and was rebuilt on the land of Toyokuni Shrine donated by Ieyasu Tokugawa. Comparing the scale and location of the current Chishakuin Temple and Toyokuni Shrine, I feel that the prosperity is inevitable. Quiet talk break. The damage caused by the Battle of Kishuu is so great that it is undeniably less spectacular than other Shingon Buddhist temples such as Murouji, Hasedera, and Daigoji. However, the National Treasure Tower is one and only majestic, and the three sacred Buddhas of the main hall, Daidenboin, are also impressive. It is no wonder that most of the main buildings in the precincts are designated as Important Cultural Properties. There are a decent number of buses running from the nearest Iwade station, and access is secured to the extent that you do not feel inconvenienced. There are no souvenir shops or restaurants in front of the gate, but it doesn't take long to get to Wakayama city. Koyasan and Kumano are the only shrines and temples in Kishu, but in addition to Negoroji, the 33 temples in Saigoku, Kimii-ji and Kogawa-ji, and Kiyohime's legendary Dosei-ji are must-sees. We strongly recommend that you visit the temple as it is a famous place.

It is right after getting off the Iwade Negoro IC on the Keinawa Expressway. The surrounding area was quiet and the autumn colors of the park and temples were beautiful. Since the main hall and the main hall are separated, if you look from the main hall, you can see all of them by stopping at the parking lot near the main hall and then going to the main hall. There are many national treasures and important cultural properties. The surrounding area is quiet and calm. Since it is wide, we recommend that you take a break and go around at your own pace. There are many places to rest and toilets. Parking is free but unpaved.

Negoroji has a long history and you can understand various things by learning about it. I am a storyteller and I often guide you.
