This is not a customer friendly hotel . Carlos the guy at the front desk assured our reservation for 5 rooms was a done deal . After multiple phone calls to confirm the reservation we arrived to a fully booked hotel . Carlos was dismissive, arrogant and fully of himself. Stay away .

This is the best hotel in Bacalar. We stayed here in January and it was amazing. It’s located right on Bacalar lagoon in a very quite area just outside the town. The rooms are large, clean and stylish. The food and drinks are extremely good and value for money. The staff are amazing, very helpful and friendly. There are kayaks you can use (for free) to explore the lagoon. There is an amazing cenote around 5 minute paddle away.

Hotel Carolina and restaurante offers an Amazing service. I ate with my familly a fabolous dinner clase to a deck near bacala's logoin. We Did not stay in here But I am making plana in comming back and staying in here.
