Platinum Yucatán Princess All Suites & Spa Resort

Staff was so friendly and always willing to help. The food was delicious!! We were a little hesitant about taking a vacation to another country during the pandemic, but Mexico was more safe and clean than any place I have seen in the U.S. We felt extremely safe during our stay and visit to downtown and Cozumel. They ask you to wear a mask in all common areas, sanitize your hands and shoes anytime you walk into a restaurant, which honestly wasn't a big ask. The resort was operating at 20% capacity while we were there. We had such a great time at this resort that we will definitely be back! Rated 4/5 because I felt some areas of the resort could use a bit of an upgrade, but overall very well maintained.

If you are planning to stay in the resort and okay with mediocre food / service then this is the place for you. This is not a four star resort. What they don't tell you: The beach is very narrow. They are the last resort the clean the seaweeds. Most guest end up at the pool. Food is terrible. The 7/11 outside the resort has better pizza than the Italian restaurant. You'll have much better food at Playa. All you can drink till 9:59pm. Yes they close the bars at 10pm. The place is a ghost town after 10:30pm. Taxi cartel - you can't avoid paying a minimum $20 U.S. to go anywhere! (Cartel = no Uber) Outdated rooms fitted with loud air conditionner. Pick your poison. If you don't speak Spanish then forget about ordering room service after 10pm because the resort doesn't have the "talent" to take and deliver orders in English Staff is friendly but very slow. The area is very safe. Their unfriendly security company slows traffic in and out of the resort. Not sure why this is needed. There's nothing special or unique about this cut-and-paste, satellite-run, outdated and deceptive resort. For a limited time..X0% off...book now! 😂

Absolutely loved it here. Took my girlfriend for a surprise 2 night stay for new years eve. They lived up to expectations. The only thing we weren't overly keen on was the buffet but the other restaurants were fantastic.

It was going great until our money for going home was stolen in our safe box. Whats the purpose of having one if housekeeping can keep going in an rummaging through our stuff and stealing our money. I'll rather carry my important items on me at this rate .

Absolutely beautiful resort... food filling but that is about all. Someone needs to do an intervention with the owner before people stop going because the food.... I would go back because I am easy to please, but those who want the total package would not for sure, NO DOUBT ABOUT IT.
