Hotel Mar y Tierra

When my reservation was made, they didn't mention that my room had no balcony or even window, I choose this hotel looking for sea-view, which I never got. The beach is not near. There is a beach in front of the hotel, but it's not available for the public, it's restricted by the government

It was good. Rooms are clean, bathroom is very good and shower is quite nice. Restaurant is on site and the food is very good. Plenty of taxis outside. Walking distance to most destinations such as the Malecon or Cafe Gran Paroquia. Only complaint was the pool not operating properly. The filtration along with the chlorination system was not working. The jacuzzi is not advisable.

some rooms are renovated and acceptable, en general. The floors are very noicy. Attention st lobby is not well and no breakfast.

AC doesn't work, room are too hot.

Excellent location, clean, comfortable, good price, HORRIBLE INTERNET. Right at the malecon (boardwalk), so lots of small vendors on your doorstep; close to the water, During the 20+ hours that we were there, we had internet access only for about 30 minutes, in spite of constant promises from the staff.
