BE AWARE OF YOUR BAGS!!! There are young guys at the entrance that they offer to guide you and check your bags. Do not trust any of them cause they stole money from your bags instead

The cenotes were lovely but the staff was very pushy. There seemed to be a real unwillingness to let you know if there would be anywhere safe to put your things well you swam, there is not by the way. The guide they just kind of force on you will expect a hefty "tip" when he leaves you to swim in the cenote, nope he's not staying to keep an eye on your things. Since that wasen't made clear we left our cash and valubles in our car as we didn't feel comfortable leaving them on a rock with a bunch of strangers milling about well we swam. Apparently there was just no way to get him his tip unless he waited pouting well we swam and missed out on other tips.😞 Hmm ya okay sure, but the guilt trip worked we rushed through our swim and my husband felt bad and tipped way to much. The whole thing really ruined what could have been a really nice experience. I felt very misled and uncomfotable the whole time and instead of enjoying the beautiful views I just felt annoyed by the lack of communication and wanted to leave.

Great! Just being able to see 2 cenotes in one is amazing! Would recommend getting there early because we had it all for our selves so could make some amazing pictures without other people. Tour guide was good but I do agree with people trying to force sell on you.
