SUKIYA San Juan del Río

This is Sukiya branch opened in February 2018 and perhaps that due to the location (next to Querétaro highway) and the time which has been opened, I can say that not many people know it. Food and portions are great! Yet, service is terrible like many other branches, I think they need more staff as there very few people serving and taking orders. The first time I visited this branch, there was only one waiter preparing food, taking orders and the second time there were only two people doing many tasks with the place full of customers and with many tables full of dirty dishes. That's why I gave them 2 stars. So, be patient, relax and try to enjoy your food

A true Japanese fast food restaurant. The noodles are very authentic and all the menu is based on Japanese comfort food. The matcha beverages are awesome.

The place looks very nice, the food is quite good but the price could be better.

Very slow service. It was not busy but it took 10 minutes just to get menus and 30 minutes to order. No refills on drinks and no lids to prevent the kids from spilling. When we finally came to order they told us everything on the menu was unavailable except ramen. I was confused so he went to ask and then they changed their mind saying everything was available. Then when ordered and one item featured on the menu was not available. How hard is it to have a menu that a correct? The food was medium. Noodle bowls were pretty good. The teriyaki bowl was fine but lacked sauce. The tofu platter was weak and the salad with it was junk and looked nothing like the menu. Portion size was good. I’m giving 3 stars because when we got frustrated with how tacky everything was the manager did step in and even spoke some English trying to make us happy. This place could be good for the money but they need to get organized, stop nickel and diming and being cheapskates on things like drinks and salads.
