The view from our room was perfect. Room was clean and sanitized. It could use some updating. My family and I had a wonderful stay. Staff was courteous and attentive.

The service was always excellent. The room are clean, but outdated. The food they sale is of good quality but very pricey when comparing to restaurants near by.

We had a pleasant stay here. It had the feeling of a gracious resort hotel from the 1980s frozen in time. Lovely, genuinely hospitable staff, lovely setup, very clean, very run down. The views across the ocean are beautiful, the rooms are spacious and airy, it's all just in dire need of an update with rust and wear and decay everywhere you look. The pool and jacuzzi are lovely and very well-maintained. The beds, linens and pillows in particular have seen better days, which left me with an aching back after two nights on the gigantic, elderly bed. The traffic on the highway directly behind the hotel can be very loud at times, so it's not ideal if you want to sleep past 6 am. The restaurant is quite good, with some lovely classic gueridon cookery (cooking at the table) on display, which is very rare these days. It's all quite over-priced, but a relaxing place to stay if you're not too precious.
