They were nice. Not super pushy. Good car. Good price! Also a very important note: I did prepay a deposit to HOLD my vehicle not just reserve. I believe this was an amazing option to give. So make sure you do that when they email you or there’s ALWAYS a chance you might not have a vehicle secured. The deposit comes off the rental price anyway.

I don't usually comment or review for any type of company, but after seeing some of the negative comments on City Car Rental, I was shocked. My experience was different, very pleasant when hiring them. From the first contact they were very kind, they helped me solve all my doubts. I rented a Nissan March for 20 days last summer, and it was delivered clean and without any problem, I was able to travel almost the entire mayan riviera without problems. My deposit was returned to me within 48 hours after delivery of the car and I had no other problems with payments. I recommend this company, they are very attentive and always ready to help.

I would truly recommend this car rental company. Everything was transparent, we paid the same amount as prebooked online, nothing extra for the insurance etc. Car was fine. Pick up and drop off at the airport was easy and fast. I would definitely rent from them again.

An overall okay experience but with two negatives: First, we were stuck waiting at the airport for an hour for the shuttle and it was really chaotic. The communication with the person over text was confusing telling us to leave the airport and then go back. Secondly, when we arrived the SUV we booked wasn't available and all they had was a Toyota Corolla which I felt like I didn't have a choice but accept but then CityCar tried to charge us MORE for it because they classified it a last minute rental. After a ton of talking It resulted in me paying exactly what I was going to pay for the SUV but now for a compact. Overall though, the car was clean and the agents at the pick-up drop-off were very kind and helpful.

This is a very good and reliable car service I would definitely recommend They picked me up from the airport and took me to their facility where the car was already clean and ready. The man at the counter went through the car with me and had the paperwork ready, and the price I paid was the same as we agreed to when I made the reservation. The whole process maybe took 15 minutes. Then after I returned the car they immediately took me back to the airport
