It is a complete scam. They offer low rates on internet and then rip you off once you get to the office. They seem to operate on full deception with no transparency. Stay away. My rental experience at keddy by Europcar was HORRIBLE. They pushed me to buy insurance coverage and when i showed them proof of being covered by my credit card. They added an $8 VLC charge per day and told me it is the local charges. I showed them my booking that already covers local taxes, and airport charges. After I agreed to pay that which increased my total from $53 to almost $200 they wanted to put a hold of $12500 on my credit card! What a terrible company. I chose to walk away. Wasted a couple of hours. Minimum I could rate was a 1 star else i would have given a minus 5.

Folks who work there seem nice but I think there is a store policy based on deception. Tried to scam me with additional cost of insurance coverage they claim was required by law. I had confirmed with their corporate online associates that coverage wasn't needed. I just left and walked to another place down the street. Beware!

Scam. Price too good to be true online. They shuttle you from the airport to this location where they drop the insurance cost on you, which in my case was 8x the rental cost of the car. The employees were nice enough, but whoever owns this place is not an ethical person.

I arrive and they insisted I must pay for their insurance. The minimum coverage for their smallest car was about $44/day JUST FOR INSURANCE and the full coverage was DOUBLE that amount. And I had a reservation for a month long rental ... which I asked TWICE that they were quoting me about $1,300 USD, just for the lowest insurance they offered! How do these people stay in business? My friend rented a similar car in el centro for just a day, HE RESERVED ONLY ONE DAY IN ADVANCE, with full insurance was $38 (this is the rental cost and the insurance, not only insurance) ... and I had been renting weekly from Hertz where they accept my credit card coverage for the vehicle damage so I had been paying less than $10/day. I will never rent from EuroCar in the future and I walked out of the office without the car and secured another Hertz for substantially less money. Update And I see they post a reply asking me to contact them. Why would I bother? I already have another car from another company who doesn't screw their customers. I only attempted to reserve other than Hertz to see if I could pay less for the month long rental.

Best experience ever with a car rental company. Very nice staff, they speak English, help with any (also non-renting related) question, fairs prices and great help in special situations.
