RIP OFF.. Excessive price MEX$423 per person (US$22) and they only accept cash. At the entrance they took the tickets instead of invalidating them. The place is famous for the main structure which is tall with a great view from the top and substructure in the form of a jaguar mouth near the top. The entrance to the pyramid is completely closed. You can try guessing how good is the view and the jaguar mouth from the far away at the bottom of the pyramid. Other than that there is nothing to see there. Other buildings are mostly new construction from the old stones. You can even see remnants of the original stairs which are much more narrow embedded in the construction. It seems that they also build new ornaments in and around the jaguar mouth. So even if they reopen it will be likely disnelandish new construction.

What a nice place to visit. Pretty remote and peaceful in the middle of the jungle/woods. Sadly it is quite overpriced for foreigners (I think it was around 450 pesos per person) and they didn't even accept credit card, only cash. What a bad surprise if you plan to visit some of the cenotes close by where you also need some cash. Also there were no benches so you could rest and enjoy the surroundings. All in all many things can be improved but the journey is worth it, if you want to escape the very touristic paths.

Superb experience. This was a tip from locals and it was much nicer that the more famous archeological sites. There were not so many visitors, no souvenir sellers, prices were more reasonable and you can enjoy a climb up one of the pyramids which is not possible in other places.

Really amazing! The ruins are very well preserved and excellently restored. Was not at all busy when we went. We were able to explore by ourselves. The main palace is an amazing climb and you can see for miles around.

Its cute. Not the biggest place but it was quiet and had some ruins to look at. I was sketched out and first because we were only the 3rd car there and there was a kid riding his bike in the lot just staring at us to go in.
