Courtyard by Marriott Puebla Las Animas

THIS HOTEL HARDLY REACHES THREE STARS. Although lobby, receptionist and restaurant areas look nice and modern, rooms are not. They look like frozen in the 1970s. Boxy wall A/C units, shower and tube outdated. Towels are rags. Very limited, Spanish - only TV channels. Good service and location make the stay up little bit, there are other hotels in the area with nicer and updated rooms for the same price range. Owners are just milking the cow..

The gym had all the equipment and at the highest quality; I really liked it.

For a few bucks more, we opted for the Jr. Suite. It came with a refrigerator which kept our bottles nice and cold. It is a little away from the touristy parts, but the hotel is very modern with air conditioning. We knew it would be warm in Puebla so staying at the historic hotels would be out. The room was very large, about what I'd expect for a Jr. Suite. We did not have breakfast because we left at 6 in the morning but I heard good things about it. The area was very, very safe and next to a shopping center that features a supermarket and casino. It is more of a business hotel and offered modern amenities.

Great customer service! Has all the things one needs to attend a wedding eg ironing board, scissors lol. They were very prompt in their service!
