This place was so awesome we went twice. The first time we walked from downtown. It was about a 30 minute walk and not very easy, but even though they weren't giving tours when we arrived, they were kind enough to let us in and sample their wines with the owners. We had so much fun talking with them and the wine was so good we bought to bottles. We returned the next day for an actual tour and we learned SO much. Again, very knowledgeable and very interactive. We could see everything up close and person. We even corked a bottle! It's the simple things like that that I find thrilling. Again, we sampled the wines and learned a lot about the actual fabrication, from how they graft the vines all the way to the bottling process. This place was NOT packed with tourists - it was very personal (my boyfriend and I were the only two on the first noon time tour). I can't believe, being so close to Tequisquiapan, that this is not more popular, but I'm glad it wasn't because you get a nice personalized experience and for only $120 pesos. Amazing time, very educational, terrific wines, and by far the best tour we went on during our wine weekend. HIGHLY recommended.
