Early in the morning the shoreline was stony and the in coming waves were dangerous with stones hitting your feet.

What a gorgeous place to visit and walk. There are miles and miles (or KM's) of soft sandy beach. Listening to the waves crash against the beach and watching surfers surf is so surreal as the sun sets. My recommendation is to not go too far down the beach as the sun sets. You'll have to cross a river (maybe 30' wide) but it flows SUPER FAST AND HAS A STRONG CURRENT! In daylight you can see the path where you want to cross in the water, but the moment the sun starts to dip and it's not reflecting in the water, it's hard to find your way back across that 30' flow!!

Go and enjoy a day watching surfers during the day, and at night you would see a full stars sky.

This is a beautiful spot. Fresh water river meets up with the ocean. Surfing is supposed to be spectacular here. T went for sunset and it was so beautiful to see the moon on the ocean. There are cliffs right beside the ocean, and Myian ruins after a bit of a hike into the forest
