It is a nice small town, good for hiking. The people are friendly, you can find wheat tortillas that are typical of this place. The sunsets are very beautiful here, however there is no place to stay, nor does it have well-stocked stores, the few that there are are scarce in product, so you have to go well prepared with some snacks to have during the day. You can get there by taking a taxi from Nochixtlan and meet them in agreement to take you back. In Nochixtlan you can also stock up on products that you need during your stay.

Rancho we told him a long time ago. There I was born in 1950, I survived the harassment of a witch who liked my fresh blood. Having overcome that matter, because of my father's work, we visited La Unión every year and generally stayed at the grandfather's house in La Joya where they made us a place, until in 1961 my father returned as a teacher to La Unión again. From then on, everything revolved around La Unión. One year I walked the hills with my flock of goats and sheep, I learned to make waves, whips and carts of cane, besides making cuetas with cow poop on, which hitting it with a stone on stone produces a small burst. Yucu Ñ'ii is for me the most emblematic place of that place. I do not get tired of seeing it and it seems that each of its formations, my memory registers them without missing any.
