Payless Car Rental

These people only care about making commission on insurance and will try to lie and scam you to make their cut. They don't care if you get your prepaid rental and the refund procedure is also a joke. The HQ of this business needs to clear these corrupt staff out.

I rented a car from this place on 3/4/2020, they stole my credit card information and nearly maxed out my credit card. They were authorized to charge a 1000 peso hold which is roughly 52 usd they charged my card 522.20. Americans stay away from here. I will be spending my morning at the US Embassy filing an official report so my credit card company can go after them for fraud rather than enjoying than enjoying the the Aztecan Pyramids. AMERICANS BEWARE!

Do NOT book with Payless. We had a confirmed booking made online. When we arrived to pick up the car we were told they had none and the representative was unwilling to help us source another car. He just shrugged his shoulders and went off. The worst possible customer service. It will be interesting to see if Payless even bothers to respond to this.

We booked online, they had an incorrect amount on the reservation (1116.1usd for 2 days!). They couldn't change it. Then they mentioned they do have one car left for 65 usd per day. Since we had no where else to go we had to take the reservation. The service was slow and painful. Not to mention, double the price!

They accepted a reservation online, and then we we arrived they didn't have any cars. The rep was completely useless and didn't offer to help at all and just ignored us and pretended to type on his computer until we left.
