Certainly proffessionals! Have the cushions of our entire round seat made and upholstered by Scholtens. It has become the showpiece of our houseboat. Beautiful fabric and finish. We are very satisfied with it. Certainly professionals! James

Avoid like the plague Contacted Scholtens & Zn to replace the fabric on 5 dining chairs. Jan replied (in perfect English), came to our house and we agreed a price for material repair and to fix the “wobbliness” of the chairs. Chairs were taken for repair and returned and then the problems started: 1) Material was indeed replaced, and this is fine 2) Chair “wobbliness” not corrected (not even attempted) 3) We were charged an additional €100 for work we had discussed (treating chairs for woodworm) but not agreed 4) Jan insisted on cash payment and would not provide a receipt Since the chairs were returned we have tried to get Jan/Scholtens to complete the work for which we paid but with no success – 4 missed appointments later and a sudden inability to understand English anymore means that we are left with no other option but to try to warn others to not use the services of Scholtens & Zn and to initiate proceedings with the geschillencommissie to get the work that we agreed completed or our money returned.

After 20 years my furniture was due for replacement. Because I could not find it in the furniture stores and my own furniture was still very beautiful in terms of model / design and suited my house, I decided to opt for reupholstering. After much searching for the right fabric, I ended up at furniture upholstery Scholtens. An enormous choice of beautiful fabrics, so much choice in colors, materials and designs I have never seen anywhere. Ultimately being able to make a choice and various types of fabrics and designs. Ultimately a beautiful and unique result. Very pleased with it.
