Helped in the store by friendly and knowledgeable staff. In consultation with the seller, we did not choose the fastest delivery date, but three weeks later, because the renovation of our house would then also be finished. Down payment made and satisfied with the purchase of our new XOOON sofa.
Until a week later I received an email in my spam delaying the delivery time by three weeks that looks suspiciously automatically generated. No personal contact at all after that, until we placed an additional order for chairs and it turned out that the much earlier ordered sofa was delivered later.
Finally called back by the seller with the message 'too bad but unfortunately' and because it is - very handy - within 4 weeks that can be delayed according to the conditions, they cannot do anything about compensation. Even a discount on a subsequent purchase is not negotiable.
Delivery delays can happen, but try to think along with the customer and do not hide behind conditions. In this way I never enter an Eijerkamp home store for XOOON products again and next time I just choose another one. After all, there is plenty of choice!
