I would like to prevent others from frustration, so here it goes: we ordered a couch on the 2 May. More than 4 months later we still don't have the couch, or a viable plan for delivery. Huge delays and a lot of delivery limitations! You are not even asked what time frame you prefer for delivery, they decide that and show up hours later, anyway! The issue is that the couch will not fit on our staircase or lift for delivery. Why did nobody form Montel consider/measure this? A lot of back and forth calls with contradicting information between the shop and the customer service; the one blames and asks us to call the other. We have spent multiple hours trying to find solutions, although it's entirely not our responsibility, and still no success. Nobody thinks along how to deliver to us, we are expected to figure it out althoigh their business is building and delivering couches. Update: 5+ months later, still no couch. we were promised we will be called with a solution, nobody called for two weeks. We called them only to be told we have to wait three more weeks just for someone to come look if the couch will fit. This is OUTRAGEOUS.

Those are clearly one of the very good furniture shops you can buy from. Delivery happened on time, facilitations in payments, good advice and overall I didn’t see any rushing from them to drag the penny out of the customer pocket. The after sales service is sluggish sometimes but they try to improve.

Do not buy anything from Montel. Service is the worst I have seen in years. When placing the order we stated that we needed the sofa before New Year. Only possible date was 24 Dec. We said, that on that day we will not be home between 9 and 12 and begged to have it delivered in the afternoon. They said they will leave a request with the order. And what do you think they did in the end? They placed the delivery during this time. Specifically during this time, Carl! When called the Client Service, they said that they could not do anything about it. You pay thousands for their sofas and delivery and you get zero service. None!
