Recently bought an acacia wood dining table of the 'Tree' type. Asked before purchase if the table was treated and easy to maintain. I was told that this was the case (the 'maintenance card' also states that the table has been varnished and waxed) and that I just had to be careful not to leave leftover food untouched all night. Nevertheless, after a few weeks it turned out that the table is very sensitive to stains and that they immediately penetrate. When I indicated by telephone that a different expectation had been aroused, the seller was not very understanding: I had to just sand the table and paint and wax it again myself.
