In addition to my bad experience with the company's customer service, I also notice that this company responds to all negative reviews with an apology. They are completely on the defensive everywhere and make all the reviewers look like they are lying. I cannot imagine that this is really the case and on the contrary the reviews are about personal experiences. Personal experiences are personal for a reason and normally when a customer expresses his or her negative feelings about a company, a company responds with an apology and a potential solution if there is one. This company responds with excuses. Ultimately, in a consumer-business relationship, it is not about who does it right or wrong, but about the fact that the customer is king regardless of the negative comments. A company is professional if they can recognize mistakes and are solution-oriented. I have not come across any negative review in which the company takes responsibility. The fact that everyone is on the defensive says a lot about the company and shows that it is necessary. P.S. If they don't know who you are or which order is yours, they respond fairly nicely, but as soon as you pass it on, you will also receive a response showing that they are always right and the customer is not. I think it is so special that a company dares to respond to negative reviews in such a way, and that also publicly. Like kicking a 10 year old on his toes.

This has been the most disappointing experience ever! NEVER WHEN ORDERING! Here the story: - delivery time 9 weeks (not fun, but not insurmountable) - driver calls the day of delivery, we are asked to wait so that we can check the table and chassis ... which does not happen, now we were there 10 minutes later ... the driver had already left of course! - materials are bluntly placed in front of the door, the driver also appears to have only placed this unbearable weight for 1 person there (witnesses a neighbor) - In the evening when unpacking something turns out to be wrong - apart from obvious (albeit slightly more limited) transport damage, the table is also not finished: in several places white spots, white dots and 1 corner not even completely finished => this even has nothing to see with the transport damage, which will happen again on top of - we contact the company, which puts everything in our shoes: we should have checked it, we did the damage on arrival ... where is the evidence? where is their sense of responsibility ... this is a downright shame! - it gets worse, when we point out to them that the product was insufficiently packaged and secured for transport (by the way, you can see in a photo how it was packaged and how they left it), they keep turning around and pointing our fault is, this while: - no reinforced protection around the corners, nor flat sides (no isomo / reinforced protection material) - no cardboard around it, not even the flat sides (ever seen something like this delivered? without cardboard? we don't!) - flattened, loose-hanging bubble plastic as protection ... almost nothing in terms of protection, especially considering the weight of that table top! SCANDALOUS!! NO WORDS FOR THIS. As you can see from the company's response below, this company has absolutely no notion of customer friendliness or service. They ignore all evidence and assume they are right ... just look at the picture HOW it was left ?? The driver put it there, so any damage that's just your fault. (while the packaging leaves everything to be desired, not!) The transport damage itself is not too bad, we also argue that the product is NOT FINISHED, so do not turn around with your transport damage alone, your product is worthless: white spots everywhere, the waffle mesh is even visible ... that is just badly finished, point on the line; Then they wish that I will pay the return costs ... what do they think ??? That is not even legal, they have to pay for it, and it will! An opinion = DO NOT BUY HERE!

Helped very well in making a quotation for a standard side table to which I wanted to adjust / add a lot. The response time of Steigerhouttrend is very short, which is really great! In addition, I had placed two separate orders, which after good consultation could remain with them for a while, and were delivered at the same time by a very friendly delivery person. Among other things, a wall unit, coat rack and counter ordered and all of very beautiful and solid quality. I hope to enjoy it for a long time and would certainly recommend you in my area. Update: I have just read many (negative) reactions. I think it's really special how the service I received could be so different from that of someone else. It's pretty easy to safely post a negative review from behind your PC; so herewith, a very positive one!
