Cute shop with some classy homeware/furniture, and not outrageously priced. Especially appreciate the Vlaamsch Broodhuys bread on Saturdays. If only they would stock it other days of the week too!

The history of CO-OP is large. Following the British example, cooperatives were also started in the Netherlands. In the museum you can read and see everything about it. The display cases with the items you could save at the CO-OP supermarkets are nice.

Because my own hairdresser was on vacation, I now visited Marcha. This was a nice re-acquaintance, because she used to be my hairdresser. The hair salon is very small (one chair and one sink) and is in the vintage shop. The store is located in the beautiful, large, old building. Marcha takes the time for you and is very friendly and competent. You get a cup of coffee or tea with a treat. The price is extremely reasonable. Although I did not come to the store, I did of course have a look around. Vintage items that are newly produced, from jewelry, clothing, lamps, furniture and home accessories. Very worthwhile, both the hair salon and the shop.
