We bought a lounge set with delivery to Germany and paid for it in full (3000 €). It never got there. We received news that your forwarding agent had been delivering the goods damaged lately and that we should now pick up the set ourselves. Since this was not possible for us, it was said that they would deliver at our own risk, but the goods would most likely arrive damaged and that would be our problem. It would also not be possible for them to package in such a way that the garden furniture would remain undamaged. Doesn't every shipping company have insurance ?! Apparently not Timmermans. And apparently such a large company is unable to find a new shipping company. SAD! The Dutch competition can do it (and even cheaper or free for this value of goods). Why not you? Is nobody competent enough to find a carrier ?! In the meantime we are sitting here without garden furniture and waiting for our money to come back. Never again! Addendum to the owner: 1. Your "esteemed" employee knew from the start that it was an exhibit (since she only had this one) and said on the phone (before buying) that it would be no problem to pack and ship it. She even sent us pictures of the exhibits to show that the goods were undamaged and charged for shipping to Germany. Suddenly she no longer knows that it was an exhibit? Hopefully the poor woman doesn't have dementia? 2. Collect money, then say that you cannot deliver and then offer (ridiculous) € 200 if we come to pick it up ourselves (1000km drive + rent a Sprinter + gasoline + overnight stay). To say that you were offered a € 399 discount is a lie! We paid € 199 for shipping beforehand. You wanted to reimburse us for it and give us a € 200 discount for self-collection. Since when has it been a discount to reimburse the customer for the shipping costs paid? Words fail me! What honesty do you expect from the staff if the boss doesn't even stick to the facts ?! 3. We have been given a deadline of 4 days by e-mail to contact us, otherwise you will cancel the contract. In that short time we didn't even check our emails. At the time of the last phone call, you had already canceled the sales contract without our consent and instructed the purchase price to be refunded (when we read this, we called immediately). It is a lie that you canceled the sales contract because of the phone call and can easily be checked by the date of the mail and the call list! Your employee was very rude and rude on the phone, didn't let us finish, kept interrupting us and answered very cheekily. 4. It's interesting that you take the time to respond to these reviews, since you didn't even have the time to speak to us beforehand, even though we had asked for a phone call several times! 5. There were no insults. It is a cheek to collect money for goods with shipping and then not to deliver! I still hold this opinion. Likewise, the fact that not being able to pack something properly so that it is not damaged during shipping or to find a reliable shipping company does not show any great competence. Others can do it too! You have to put up with the accusation! Check the facts (emails don't lie) or listen to both sides before interfering. It's sad that you don't have to talk to the customer before they write a bad (justified) review. If you invested half as much time in problem solving as in arguing, we would have garden furniture and you would not have a bad rating!

Located in the plant center, Timmermanns offers a huge selection of terraces and garden furniture. We bought our lunge there 10 years ago and have been more than satisfied since then, currently we have bought a table fire, also there we have found a large selection. The staff is friendly, it only needs to be brought in with a lot of time and patience.

Don't! We bought an anthracite parasol in August 2017. After a few weeks (!) The cover faded to a "dirty reddish brown". Actually, there is a clear warranty case that can be assumed. would probably handle many other dealers well anyway. The expiry of the warranty: A complaint in the shop / on site is not possible. One should send a picture of the defect to the headquarters by email. If you do not have these technical options, you should have "lost" at this point. Then you are first asked whether you have purchased a protective cover (we have) and that you have to contact the supplier. The answer is as follows: "Hello Mr. Schroën I have a message from the supplier. The Martinique has class 1 fabric. It fades faster into the sun. They have no guarantee of that. If you have any questions you can always email or call us. Met vriendelijke groet / Kind regards / With kind regards, Planning & Service " The reference to an alleged substance class 1, which is of course not disclosed when sold, is anything but fair. As a customer, you feel at best here, even if the on-site sales are of course "friendly". Against this background, the purchase of long-term goods should be carefully considered.
