Restaurant Festijn Culinair "All you can eat", Mediterranean dishes

It's a shame this new restaurant does not live up to its expectations. Took forever to be completed, and looks real nice, but unfortunately this doesn't hold true for the food. The same concept as sister restaurant Tang Dynasty, only this time with Mediterranean food. But this type of food doesn't work well with the all-you-can-eat concept. Too much deep fried food that lays around too long. And the grill has such an artificial gas BBQ smell it tastes funny. Pass on this place. Better go to Tang Dynasty, and enjoy the Asian food. And if you crave tapas, go to Tapas Barça. They make great Mediterranean Spanish food, all-you-can-eat, freshly prepared. A real shame this restaurant concept failed.

My family and me celebrated my birthday last Sunday at Festijn Culinair.😀👍🏼 I couldn’t choose a better location in whole Almere! It was a wonderful meal at a very beautiful restaurant. Very friendly team who make you very welcome at this new dining area. We felt there appreciated by all hospitable team. The food was like we expected: tasty and western. There were also some sushi’s for people who like Asian eating! There was a really nice kinder buffet which touched my heart as we were with our toddler granddaughter who loved her own food station! 👍🏼 Not to mention the children playground which attracted many small visitors. They had a wonderful time! The whole restaurant is perfect in many ways and should satisfy most demanding people . We were happy eating out there and are certainly planning to go back for more enjoyable evenings. Festijn Culinair is a place which I would suggest to all: old and young👍🏼

I really liked the food, it’s just due to the covid regulations that we can’t walk around and the choice is very broad so you get served at the table and you use your phone download the app use your own phone to place your orders and you can choose five dishes per order per person and then they bring it to you within minutes and you get five rounds a person and the food was really nice everything was favourable and there is so much choice because it’s like a world restaurant so you’re not limited to like only Chinese this August sorts of food from the world like Mexican Chinese sushi Dutch pizza whatever you like I think you would find it there and service is very quick & very prompt all the meals are including the drinks except the alcoholic drinks they’re not included you have to pay them separately and there is enough choice for dessert fresh fruit salads and so forth so if you do decide to go you’ll have fun it will be well worth the price you pay for the food.

Room for some improvement. The food is nice and they have a lot of side dishes and desserts. They have a great variety of drinks and shakes. The kids had a lot of fun in their playing area. Kid friendly restaurant with atmosphere. The food needs to get a bit more variety and some of the dishes were a bit on the colder side.

It’s a really nice restaurant! Pasta & pizza dishes are being made by Italian chefs, seafood by Portuguese chefs and tapas by Spanish chefs. ❤️ Everything tastes great! Huge plus also for the yummy milkshakes ans super fluffy pancakes. We will come back for sure!
