Kvik – Keuken, Badkamer & Garderobe - Rotterdam Alexandrium

Great service in the Shop itself - Jelle was very knowledgeable and friendly. The kitchen products of Kvik are also great quality. My original review highlighted a few problems with the service of the shop, but I am happy to confirm that the shop and owner were very responsive and timely in addressing the issues. All has been resolved. I would recommend to arrange for an installation service externally as that is not fully in control of Kvik and can lead to unexpected situations. The shop itself can provide the service, but they hire external contractors which can bring about additional complexities to the process. So if you have a contractor of your own already - best to check with them for installation. Price wise it wont make much of a difference, but it will be in your own control.

Had a very good experience with Kvik Keuken Alexandrium. The staff were very helpful from the initial design stage to final completion and installation. When any problems arose they quickly resolved them without any fuss or bother and went the extra mile to make sure that the kitchen delivered was as specified in the initial design stage. Would recommend to anybody wanting a good quality kitchen.

Dat je zo met je klanten omgaat... Speechless... We hadden er zo zin in; een afspraak in de winkel. Materialen voelen, keukens "beleven" , apparatuur bekijken... We werden niet echt welkom geheten door een van de medewerkers. "Hallo, wij hebben een afspraak". Medewerker: "nou, dat denk ik niet". "Uhm, jawel. Wij hebben in onze zoom-meeting een fysieke afspraak gepland". Medewerkers gaan zoeken in de agenda; wij als klant staan maar te wachten... Een aantal vreemde opmerkingen later, kwamen de medewerkers erachter dat er toch echt een afspraak in de agenda staat. Tja, dat de medewerkers er eigenlijk geen zin in hadden, werd ook hier extra duidelijk tijdens de onderlinge communicatie over wie er in de winkel zal blijven. Bij een van de medewerkers gaf ik aan dat dit nu niet bepaald een goed begin was van onze afspraak en dat ik de communicatie niet prettig vond. De reactie hierop: "Ik hoop dat het heeft opgelucht". Degene die deze review leest, begrijpt dat we deze avond geen keuken hebben besteld... En dat ook een andere keer niet bij KVIK zullen doen. Heel jammer dit. EDIT DD 08-03-2021 KVIK heefy zojuist telefonisch contact opgenomen en excuses aangeboden.

Sales went well. My wishes were listened to carefully. But after the kitchen was installed, things were far from going well. The kitchen was not complete (missing shelves, the entire lighting, filter of the extractor hood) and the kitchen was not properly assembled. The hob is mounted at an angle and the kitchen cabinets are not properly adjusted. The most dramatic is communication. I have been on the leash for a long time, now I have now been more than three months further and unfortunately my kitchen is still not finished. I have to stay on top of it myself because otherwise I won't hear from them. They don't keep agreements. Really outrageous. I don't advise people to buy a kitchen here because the service is downright bad.

If you know well what your wishes are, that makes the conversation easy and you can be ready quickly. I had done good research myself and was on a budget. Robert helped me well and respected my wishes and ideas. I didn't want an extractor hood, dishwasher or freezer. He asked a few times if I am sure? And after he saw that I had thought about it carefully and would rather have more cupboard space in my small kitchen, he started working on it. A tip is to ask and read the general terms and conditions beforehand, but in advance. It contains some things that are not flexible. Such as that you must have checked everything within two days and report if there are defects. But what if you pick up the stuff on Friday and your contractor doesn't get started until Monday, I asked? Why not make it two working days? Robert did not really know an answer to that and in the end that worked out well for me (got it on a weekday) but still nice to get more leeway on a project like a kitchen. I myself had the kitchen installed by third parties and therefore no experience with installers from Kvik. I found the amount for installation simply too high. All in all a good experience, better quality in service than the IKEA, beautiful showroom where you can start designing without much noise. Take your time and enjoy the process! I really have my dream kitchen that I am very happy with. Oh yes, the collection went perfectly. Welcomed by beautiful Anita, lovely warehouse workers who have loaded everything into a van for me! Top, top, top!
