Lafayette Brewing Company

I took my family here two weeks ago on a Friday, the Fish and Chips were hot and crispy. Paired it with the Eighty-five and Tank Scrap. I love their battered menu items and Scotch eggs. Service was great.

Although the burgers look wonderful (which I made the mistake of not ordering), the nachos were sub-par, even for bar nachos. Oddly enough, they had shedded lettuce on them, and at best, they were ingredients for other meals put into nachos. Even more odd, the salad had fresher ingredients than the nachos, even though they were mostly the same ingredients.

Not a fan been there 4 or 5 times. The food never really seems to be fresh. Over priced for the serving size. Mixed drinks are a dollar or two higher than other places in the area. Only reason I visited this place the last time they were only place open.

The food was great although cold, but you could tell they were terribly understaffed. No hostess, not enough servers and based on the over hour wait on our cold food needs kitchen help. Manager comped our meal so they tried to make it right but when other tables seated well after you get their meals before you its not ok. The food really is good but needs to hire staff.

Service was good, food came out fast. Good selection of beers especially being all in house. Juat needs a little updating some life
