DT Kirby's

This was a first. Let me start by saying I had never had a bad meal related to DT Kirby’s before today. We ordered takeout. My husband’s burger was perfect. Mine however was extremely undercooked. I had requested medium well and when the order was read back to me, it was read back as medium well. I would describe the inside of the burger as close to raw in some spots. Normally, DT Kirbys portions are such that no one leaves hungry. However I had to make myself a sandwich after I finished what I could of this burger. To be honest, I was so hungry I ate more of it than I should have. Also, the burger came with 2 slices of short rib style bacon. At first, I thought they were not included in my takeout box because they looked like French fries. As a bacon lover, I was very disappointed to find out that it was just two pieces of fat. Big disappointment.

Great food

Been going here for several years, and as of late the food was pretty sub par. The pin dip, as always, amazing, however the fried food tends to lack, one specific point though was the Mac and cheese. It was awful. Tasted like watered down canned Mac and cheese. The burgers were alright, but nothing to write home about. Service is good, but the overall quality of the food now vs 2 years ago, is sad.

The best bar burgers I've ever had! The burgers here rank with some of the best gourmet burgers I've had because of how satisfying and filling they are. Definitely my new favorite burger joint.

By far one of, if not the best place to eat in lafayette. Fair prices, amazing food, and friendly staff
