I tried a number of different leveling bases before finding the Kirk TLB-1. The one made to fit my tripod is the Induro model but the leveling action was rough and gritty. The Acratech is very well-made but loosening and tightening the lock knob is a slow process. Finally saw a video on YouTube about the Kirk leveling base and knew that this was the one to buy.nnBeautifully machined and finished, the action is smooth as glass and the unlock/lock is super fast. This is my first purchase from Kirk Enterprises but I’ll be back the next time I need anything that they offer.

Had left two messages for a man named Jeff to call me back for powdercoating solutions, Both times I was told that he was out of the office. I was then told that a message with my phone number was left on Jeff's desk and that Jeff would call me back. Days later and still no phone calls.
