First Federal Savings Bank

FFSB of Angola has been my bank for literally my entire life. I opened my first account there when I was 14. I have financed every vehicle I have ever owned through them, as have my parents, and one of my sisters. As long as Scott was directing the loan department, we were always guaranteed a loan. And have always paid on time.nThe reason they are only getting a 2 star review now, seventeen years after having my business for almost two decades is for the sharp decline I've noticed in the last few years. I was interested in upgrading to a new daily driver, but was informed by another bank member that they will not work with you on the number of months to contract your vehicle loan if the auto is older than a year.nSecondly, despite their apparent popularity, this bank only has two ATMs available for their customers. Both of which are in Angola. The one off of Harcourt Road is down 90% of the time. This has been a serious issue for me when I've been in a hurry to get somewhere I need to be and can't access money in my own account.nLastly, through the years, I have had numerous issues with the bank having a complete lack of communication with me about my finances. From credit hacks, to canceling my debit card. No call. No email. No text. Nothing...and my number and email on file is up to date.nMostly I feel that showing a little more appreciation and respect to your ling term customers would greatly improve your customer relations, and improve many people's impression of your financial institution.

I have banked with First Federal for over thirty years. They have always treated me with care and respect. They are very nice to work with.

First Federal is a real asset to Angola Indiana and all of Steuben County. They are a local bank and provide competitive banking products. My family has utilized this bank for many years, and I will continue to do so, I certainly recommend them.

First Federal is an excellent choice for those who are looking for a great small town community bank. Their customer service and willingness to go the extra mile for their clients is why I have been taking my business there for almost 20 years!
