Went to petland merrillville indiana today to view their puppies and they were all cute and active. I was particularly interested in the silky terrier but when asked how much they said $3000.00 I laughed in reply and looked at other pups told the nice man we are sr citizens on fixed incomes do they give discounts, he said they have a petland credit card..no puppy for me!!
Came here to get a bunny. She's the cutest thing! But when we got her, she had an eye infection and was immediately put on medication for it. When we took her to the vet, we were also told she was over 2 months younger than what the pet store told us! We had been taking care of her like an adolescent and she was only 4 weeks when we got her! She wasn't even old enough to leave her mother.
Please listennwe wanted to adopt a kitten but unfortunately the shelter had none so we went here,,, THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!!! 250. For a kitten that we love! But... they tell you all shots but you end up paying for shot after shot because all have to be done to get your so called free spade. Took her in for the FREE spade but had to pay 110 because they will not do it without blood work. We didn’t know this place gets cats and dogs from puppy mills and that they milk you when you buy one. PLEASE BE AWARE OF ALL THIS!!!!!
Went there with my sisters and the staff was rude off the jump. They were saying slick remarks and honestly ,I did not feel like was welcomed there. Also, the dogs are way too overpriced.
Two weeks ago had bought a rabbit from Petland at this location and it was adorable it was the cutest little bunny ever but then 5 days later it died I was very sad because it was my first pet. I don't want you guys to feel the same way I did when my bunny died. I really don't recommend to buy any pets from Petland and it's best to buy a pet from an Animal Shelter.
