I always like going to tcf, tellers are always smiling and doing there best helping customers
Bank closes early on saturdays when their hours says open until 1pm...
Stay the hell away from this bank if you value your money! They just charged me $771 penalty for closing a CD that only earns $150 per year interest. In other words, they took a good chunk of my principal for closing the CD. I just came back from Fifth Third Bank and they said they would never do that. Their penalty never deducts from the principal, only the interest. I checked on the TCF site and it is true that TCF deducts from the principal 1% up to three years as a penalty. That is outrageous and should be outlawed. To me it is tantamount to theft.
The staff inside are alright, but sometimes slow. Also the pull in drive through ATM outside seems to occasionally eat money (not put the money into your account) when you make cash deposits, so they need to update that ATM.
