St. Mary Medical Center

St Mary’s is exceptional! I started a relationship with this hospital in March of 2020 for my first pregnancy and also with some previous medical anxiety (not associated with St Mary’s). My midwife and her team were very compassionate and took such great care of me during my pregnancy. The women in the lab always made sure to listen to my preferences when doing labwork. The ultrasound techs were excited with us when we saw our baby for the first time. When it was time to deliver, the nursing staff in L&D made me feel so loved and well taken care, even as this was my first hospital admittance and our birth took an unplanned turn. I never felt like just another patient. Everyone took the time to play such a huge part in our pregnancy journey. I will always be grateful and speak highly of the staff at St Mary’s.

Other hospitals in the area allow one visitor and this one absolutely will not. They are affiliated with Community and they allow one visitor so why is it different in Hobart? I was promised a call back by my mother’s case manager today(Erin) and nothing. I’m disgusted to know my mom is not well and she cannot have my father or I be there to be her advocate. I can see why this place has 2.8 stars!

The best hospital in North West Indiana, provides extraordinary care, the nurse and aides go above and beyond to make sure you have what you need. Thank you for providing such amazing care.

I love this hospital! Every single experience I've had here has been a blessing! Both my children were birthed here, my emergency room experiences were speedy and painless and the staff are friendly to a fault. 5 stars! All the way! I would recommend this hospital to everyone.

My husband is here. The sixth floor is excellent. Nurses and doctors are kind, which means a lot when things are scary. He was moved to 5th floor. The same on this floor. This is a clean hospital, the staff very helpful and professional. We've been to another hospital. This is by far the best.nn10/14/20nBack in St. Mary's in Hobart. My husband was walked over to the ER by the nurse from our oncologists Dr Anne Meier a week after he was discharged. If you are looking for a great Oncologists Dr. Meier is who you need to see. She has been meticulous about his treatment. She is the most caring doctor I have ever met. She is one of those generally rare doctors who is devoted to her patients. Not surprising her staff are great. He was in the ER way to long but thanks to Nicole he got a room and settled before nine. We appreciate every ones efforts at St Mary's. When you have a loved one who is ill, it makes a huge difference in how they are treated. St Mary's is a very good hospital.
