Had an allergic reaction to my blood pressure medication. Face, mouth and tongue swelling. First went to a urgent care center, trying not to use the ER. I was told to take ibuprofen and wash my mouth with salt and water. They did do a rapid strep, it was negative.nnI immediately walked across the street to the E.R. Soon as I told them I was taking Lisinopril they knew I was having a allergic reaction to it.nnTo make sure it wasn't a infection they ordered a cat scan. The scan was negative, gave me benadryl and toradol through my IV, kept me overnight for precautions. ER doc and staff was great, floor staff on ER hold side were wonderful.nnOnly one complaint I couldn't order my food from the kitchen.
