Do nothing and bill insurance and make money, I’m in the wrong business

Pam July 29,2020nI have had 3 joint replacements over the past 4 years here at Riverview using New Hope Orthopedic. From registration to checkout I have been in the hands of very knowledgeable staff who were kind, patient and helpful. The food is good and arrives hot. The nurses answer the call button quickly and are in the room quickly as well. I never lacked for anything. I can’t say enough good about this place!

The front desk females at the ER/Urgent Care very nice. The nurse that took my spouse back was very rude, almost humiliating to us. I was unable to go back with him. My spouse called me on speaker phone for the Dr to explain everything to me. Dr was very thourough in our conversation. The nurse was not a people person being rude. We used the pharmacy at the hospital and he was very nice and explained the information. 5 STARS but only 4 stars BECAUSE of the nurse.

Have been to this hospital twice so far with my girlfriend who has seen two different doctors. Both times were the worst experiences i have ever been apart of at the hospital. The first time, the nurse was rude and ran some tests which took over an hour of waiting to hear back the results. She then comes back and actually ended up running the wrong tests and was very unapologetic, she wasn’t a new nurse either. Then had to wait on more tests since she ran the wrong ones. Second time my daughter went in for surgery and the nurses had us wait over 3 hours doing nothing inside the hospital when they told us to come much earlier and it ended up taking place way later than expected. Seems like an issue is going on with their structure that needs to be fixed ASAP.

Made an appointment over the phone, no questions asked. When i arrived i mentioned i did take a COVID test out of abundance of caution because i met a friend who was exposed, BUT he tested negative the same day we met. I was denied service, and given a letter that said i visited the clinic, and i was good to go to work.nnThey could have asked about exposure before confirming appointment, and the contradictory messages did not sit well with me.
