TelaCare

Unforchantly I didnt have a good experience with Telacare (maybe it was just the particular doctor I was assigned?), and because of it being 1st time using this provider, Im canceling my $35 monthly family plan... I had a bad cellulitis infection in my foot & even with a photo (fyi, I was only able to submit 1 photo through their platform), the Telacare doctor who contacted me was uncomfortable prescribing oral antibiotics. Instead he sent a script over for an itch/ inflammation cream I could easily buy over the counter, then personally told me I would have to be admitted to the hospital & receive IV intravenous antibiotics if my foot didnt get better. Of course it wasnt going to get better without oral antibiotics! It did exactly that- got worse- so the next day I decided to use a completely different tele-health provider to get the antibiotics I needed as a last ditch effort before having to go to the ER... Thankfully that OTHER telehealth-type provider fulfilled such request!!! And 1 week later, my foot is nearly back to normal! I think I'll just stick with CallonDoc.com verses Telacare for future visits & referrals!
